A devised piece based on the 1972 “Spring Crisis” at Reed College examines protest, folklore, and the ways in which communities can relate to their pasts.

Alternative between the established narrative as told in the 1975 Student Body Handbook with punctuations and modifications based on the company’s research, the design creates two parallel worlds – one of storytelling populated only by acoustic guitar and the human voice, and one of re-examination featuring expansive soundscapes.
